The Alpha Indoor Enclosure 9 provides a protected, extended run-time UPS solution based on the Alpha FXM power module platform. This enclosure meets the demands of rugged indoor environments where high temperatures and poor air quality exist - particularly where run-times in excess of an hour are required. Examples of applications where the system can be use include Industrial markets (e.g. backing up stand-alone CNC milling machines) and small, mission-critical IT facilities. The enclosure is equipped with a black metal, filtered and gasketed door that provides filtered airflow which protects the UPS and batteries from dust and dirt. Power distribution can be configured for most standard connections and an additional external fan is available for increased airflow in high temperature environments. A matching battery cabinet can be located adjacent to the main enclosure providing room for two additional strings of batteries and room for customer furnished equipment. The unit is designed with easy installation and maintenance in mind.
